MASTER CLASS DESCRIPTION
Friends, enemies or frenemies: Are cooperative or competitive approaches more successful when getting what we want in life and business?
We are already expert negotiators - spending our lives negotiating, from childhood to adulthood, and from morning until evening. In our private lives we negotiate with our family members and friends and in the working environment we negotiate with our colleagues and clients.
The ability to persuade others is increasingly important - it is impossible to listen to the news or open a newspaper without hearing about conflict - but do we feel that cooperation and consensus is going to succeed over power and authority?
In this workshop we will explore how our personal worldview impacts on our negotiation style and whether we feel we can – or even should – adapt our approach in order to get what we want in life. As we shall hear, sadly we don’t get what we want in life we get what we negotiate.
